Psyched to be in the boat!
I don't have any pictures of them from the boats, but the RAPIDS were incredible - scary and mysterious at first, scary still by the end, but much more familiar, and totally exhilarating always. For big ones I usually wore my raincoat and sometimes my rain pants, and still got pretty cold and wet, but nearly always had time to dry and warm up before the next round. 105 degrees and single-digit humidity are GREAT! The only day I stayed cold and wet was the day of Crystal and all the other gemstone-named rapids; it was partially cloudy, and those rapids are big and come one right after the other all day long. At lunch I lay right in the hot sand in my bathing suit.
