We rode with Kyle, the trip leader, for the (short) first day. We mixed it up each day and got to ride with each guide twice. Kyle did a fantastic job the entire trip - kept us informed but not overwhelmed, chose a INCREDIBLE array of side hikes, swims, shady lunch spots and gorgeous camps for us, and somehow was consistently warm and funny AND even-keeled and professional. Less than a mile downstream from Lee's Ferry, the Paria River was flash flooding, turning the usually clear Colorado into opaque coffee milk - for the rest of the trip. It didn't bother me any (maybe since I didn't know what I was missing?).
