Note all the river bags piled behind me. You pack the stuff you don't need during the day in a waterproof bag, and your sleeping gear in an identical bag, and it's all packed on the boats in the morning and then unloaded in the next camp. You each also have a smaller waterproof day bag that you keep with you. I think that's a guitar in the yellow bag.
