Karen demonstrating the proper way to wear a life jacket for riding the rapids of Little Colorado. The water was warm and the rapids swimmable and fun; we were required to wear our life jackets, and the diaper technique was key for protecting our tailbones from the sharp travertine precipitation dams as we bounced along.
