The Singapore Discovery Centre is (not surprisingly!!!) nestled into the side of SAFTI, the Singapore Armed Forces Training Institute, which is their equivalent of West Point, the Air Force Academy, the Naval Academy, OCS and the Naval War College all rolled into one. All Singaporean men do 2 years of compulsory military service. Admission to the Discovery Centre includes a ticket to a bus tour of SAFTI which we took, and enjoyed. This plane was the only thing we were allowed to photograph.

Henry explaining the hook

Weapons on display in the Discovery Centre.
At the DC there is also a shooting gallery where for $10 you can shoot targets, with either the pistols used by the Singaporean police, or the SAR21, the submachine gun used by the army. I pled excessive expense....
