Georgetown Island is bisected by a waterway that runs from Robinhood Harbor in the north through a large tidal creek and marsh, nearly connecting to Sagadahoc Bay in the south. This view looks north from the very southernmost tip of the navigable (at high tide) portion. A fairly short portage would get you to the northernmost point of the Sagadahoc Bay marsh.
